firefox help

I use firefox 3 and need help.

I always come to this site and I typed my Password in just one time and Check remember me.

And wenever I come back firefox let me in.

Now firefox wont remembe the password I must have doen something to a setting.

So I went into Tools then Options and on the main page I did make sure the How to Handel Hirty dropdown box says Custtom Settings for histry is in there.

And I put a checkmark in Remember passwords anf form info.

And I have Dellete Cookies after they Acspire in the box.

And under this I put a checkmark in Delette hisrty wen firefox closses.

And it wont remember my Passwords can anyone help??

when you delete cookies, you delete your login info.

im not 100% sure what you're asking to be honest, if you want it to remember why delete the cookies and ask it to clear history?

Well as far as Cookies go I have selected in the dropdown box keep Cookies until they Acspire.

Is this why firefox wont remember my password???

And I do wont firefox to Delette Histry everytime firefox closses so I put a Checkmark in that Box.

But I do have a checkmark in REMEMBER Passwords.

So I thought firefox would remember password only???

Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Firefox will remember history

-> security tab -> remember passwords

OK.

if this doesnt work, ill be suprised.

also, is your browser a beta version? (3.6b5 for example)

OK it worked.

So I gess now I can go from here.

I would like firefox to just remember passwords but not the web sites I go to can this be doen????

i think you can delete your history items without deleting cookies, just manually delete your history. or just turn off remembering history and see what happens.

why in the hisrty tab it has check boxs

and under this at the bottum it says clear hisrty wen firefopx closess check box?


I know if I put the checkmark in the check box that says clear histry when firefox closses it will clear histry when it closses.

but why does it have a check box above it that says remember passwords

does it meen when you put a check in clear histry when it closses and it if i put a check in rember passwords it will leave passwords???
