You don't need to break any laws to make Linux look good. And it can look like whatever you want it to look like. Windows is quite limited in what it can look like compared to the desktop environments and window managers for Linux.

Absolutely. Have to use 3rd party proggies to change themes in Windows. Really quite pathetic really.
