ethernet adapter not working on laptop after windows 7 upgrade

I found a couple different sites with the NForce drivers for Vista... about how many have you tried?

So far just hp s and nvidias. I just found out she didn't have Internet working at all in vista both wifi and ethernet wouldn't work but wifi works now

Edit: tried a few different ones but all the drivers that come from nvidia do the device cannot start and the one from hp does allow the ethernet adapter to work but no internet comes out

As an interim solution, does her modem have a USB connection? I assume she needs ethernet for home.

well here at college it sucks and unless you have your own wireless router you just get an ethernet connection coming out of the wall in the dorms. I was able to get wifi in my room since I have a router but if I turn off the wifi and plug the main internet cable into the computer I get the yellow triangle and no internet.
