i also dual boot xp/ mac os x on pc.... i use acronis os selector from their disk director suite, but you have to reboot your computer to switch between os's.

yes you could do that ^
I run linux 10.0, 10.1 and windows XP all on 1 machine using the GRUB bootloader
It works quite seemlessly but you do have to reboot to switch between OSes

You can use bootcamp... but you have to reboot. Parallels is no rebooting and fairly good performance... I like it (to bad it costs $50).
