Title pretty much says it all. I have always had 32 bit. I see that on sites they say 64 bit is faster, but do the graphics or resolutions or anything else get better as well?

Is the jump from 32 to 64 even noticeable?

I was just wondering because im thinking about going to windows 7 64 bit when it comes out.

If you were running software limited by the 32 bit address space (i.e. 4GB of RAM) then it's unlikely you will. 64 bit processors do run a bit faster when they're in native 64 bit mode and not 32 bit but unless you're doing intensive calculation work, it's unlikely you'll notice. There's certainly not going to be a sudden magic speed increase.

Nothing to do with graphics resolutions I'm afraid, they'll stay the same!

Well... It COULD do in the future, but I doubt that it does now.

If graphics cards started having more than 4GB of memory, then having a 64BIT OS Would make a difference. However, as very few graphics cards have 2GB of RAM, let alone 4GB this hasn't really been too much of a problem.
