Default disable explorer.exe on start up

When my pc starts up I end the explorer process and work from a cmd screen. Is it possible to set it so that explorer.exe doesn't initiate on start up so I can avoid ctrl + alt + delete to end it every time?

Thanks

Did a quick google search and found this:

Seems like there is a registry key that boots certain programs. Maybe you could make it boot command.com instead?

cant you create a bat file that kills the explorer.exe process
it could be used as a startup script or something
