IMO, buying a product that comes free on windows is something of a waste,

running the windows Defrag tool a few times back to back is more than good enough.

i myself find windows defrag to be good enough to get the job done, but it's a known fact that if you defrag in safemode, it takes less time.

disk keeper is good, but why pay money for something windows does for free?

Hi Compers,

Good all around replies, I think the default defrag will do for me, all seems well now after a full reinstall and a general house clean.

Thread closed.
