Data (D:) has very limited space

When using my mum's laptop I've noticed that the Data (D: ) only has 708MB remaining of 75GB, and was wondering if that was a problem. Will this have an effect on the overall performance? There is still 16GB left on the (C: ) partition so could some of that be swapped over?

Lack of free space on C: would affect performance more than free space on D:, so I wouldn't recommend moving data from D: to C:.

The laptop either needs to be cleaned up, or a bigger hard drive installed. Of course, since it's not your PC, you better let her decide what to do.

C: is the main drive used by windows, virtual RAM and the system cache is stored there, so having less space on the Partition shouldnt really affect it. But as its the same hard drive, it may slow down reading times.
