Creative Audio Center

I have an asus g73jh and would like to use the built in subwoofer. When I first received it, it worked fine but I had to uninstall the creative audio center because it kept causing my computer to freeze when I ran any steam game. That is no longer an issue for me so I reinstalled it hoping to use the subwoofer again because I have heard it is the only way to enable it. Their should be a drop down menu that lets me change my speaker configuration however instead it simply says

Speaker Configuration:
2/2.1 speakers

Any ideas on where the menu went? If not any way to enable it without audio center would be nice.
