Default Copy and Paste procedure

I am trying to 'Copy & Paste' the photo's from my iPhone to my computer and keep getting an error message.

About halfway through the procedure, a message pops up that says "The parameter is incorrect' and then it just locks up.

At this point some but not all of the photo's have been transferred.

Does anyone know why this is please?

Many thanks.

A few people appear to have had this problem. When you plug your iPhone in, a window should pop up asking what you want to do with the phone. Click "Import Photos" or something like that, apparently that works!
