Default Control Panel

My control panel doesn't show up in "my computer". i have to go through the start menu to get to it. it's not really a problem but it's habit to go to my computer to get to it,lol. how do i get it to show up in "my computer"?

Thanks for the laugh,lol. i don't know if you ment it as a joke(if you didn't sorry for laughing) but you can't copy control panel and you can't paste in my computer. i'm pretty sure it was a joke but you never know.

Um, I just went into My Documents. On the left it's like a fmily tree, I just dragged Control Panel into My Computer, but um, yeah. It's on my start menu?

Do you the "Common Tasks" on the left side of the windows when you double click the "My Computer"?

When your in a window such as My Documents, the little tree on the left, with everything. I did it there.

I can click on control panel there, but i want control panel icon in my computer. i don't use common task menu(tree thing)

To show Control Panel in My Computer

Open Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Tools > Folder Options

On the View tab, select the Show Control Panel in My Computer check box.
