Does your computer/hard drive make any sounds? If so, your hard drive may be failing. Also, type Ctrl+ alt+del go to task manager, hit the processes tab and look for the process with most numbers, and if you right click it and hit end process, see if it works a little bit faster now.

Was the card overheating, the fan had stopped spinning, just bought a newer one Felt it was time to upgrade anyway :P

Since I'm building a new PC soon enough It was just a basic solution yet its still better than my 3 or 4 year old one I had before - OcUK GeForce GT 440 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card [SXT4401024S3NM]
