Default Compatibility issues

Hi All,

I recently was looking at a small portable notebook computer in a nearby retailer and saw a nice little unit called a Terminator (No it's not a Big Arnie movie), I was tempted to buy it until I checked what the OS was and they told me Android, with that, alarm bells sounded and I asked whether it was compatible with Win 7 only to be told "NO!".

I was wondering whether anyone on this forum knew of a software package or something similar to make this unit compatible?????????

Thanks in advance

P

Did you have any more information like a link to it or the manufacturer so we can find some specs?

Anyway, most likely it uses an ARM processor and cannot run Windows 7. This might be a good device for the ARM port of Ubuntu though if you don't like Android.

Sorry Legodude it was the transformer http://www.asus.com.au/Eee/Eee_Pad/E...sformer_TF101/ that I was thinking of......I knew it had a movie title in it's name, I'm after something that I can take on a trip overseas BUT I want it to interface with my desktop.

Regards
