Default Changin MAC address in win7..

I want to change my MAC address. I have W7 OS.

Please, list all possible ways to do so, and what for I would change my MAC address as I'm not completely sure what it is for.

You don't change your MAC address - it stays constant. You can get tools to spoof it, but it'll always stay the same. It's assigned to your NIC at the time of manufacture.

Completely different to an IP address which can change constantly.

If you want to change your MAC address then just install a different network adapter and either uninstall your old network adapter (if it's a PCI card or USB type) or disable it in BIOS (if it's the onboard type). A MAC address is basically a unique set of numbers assigned to each network device whether it be a network adapter, router, etc.
