CCleaner Registry

Over time I have accumulated a lot of registry. I'm afraid to un-install any of them for fear that it might cause problems. The computer is set up for gaming. Can someone give me a guideline as to what I should leave, and what to get rid of. thank you

There's actually no reason to clean the registry, it won't effect performance, doesn't reclaim enough disk space to make it worthwhile and could possibly mess things up.

IMO, leave it alone. If you do use CCleaner, use it to clean disk space, not the registry.

There was even some malware that was distributed via CCleaner on a recent update.
