Can't install panda anti virus free.

Hi.

I hope this is the right section to post this.

I want to install panda anti virus 2.1.0 free .I got it from softpedia.I have tried to install it.It wont install.I tried it again.No go.I even downloaded their panda uninstaller just in case.I thought it worked so I tried to install it again.Still no go.

Today,I got it to go as far as an error message.And,the icon is on the screen ready to install but it keeps coming up with this message:

"An error occured during the process and panda cloud anti virus could not be installed."
Then it showed a link:
C:\krisd\LapData\Local\Temp\PS Logs\StubInstall exe.log

I have no idea what that means.
No matter how many times I try to install it,thats what it keeps coming up with.


Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a certain windows? Such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or even Windows 98?

Go to that website - click free download - skip the free download of panda antivirus pro ( which doesn't work) - Download Panda Antivirus Free Editon.

Hi.

I tried it just as you told me to and I got the same message again.
I dont know why it wont do it.

I had downloaded and run a free month trial of nortons then uninstalled it a day before it had to paid for a years subscription.

Try a different free antivirus solution such as Avast Free.

Have you tried installing in safe mode?
