Default Cant find VSTs in library? Please halp :(

Hey guys I'm not very computer savvy but this is a really annoying issue for me at the moment and I havent been able to find anything on it.

I'm running ableton (music software) and my plugins work perfectly. BUT I cannot find the components for them anywhere on my laptop! Theyre supposedly meant to be in my library, but when I go into the library theyre not there? The weirdest thing though is that when I go into ableton preferences theres an option to "Browse vst custom folder" and when I click that it goes into my library and I can see all the components except theyre greyed out; so I cant manage or delete them.

Does anyone know a way for me to be able to locate the components? I need to delete some in order to reinstall a plugin i've just spend $500 on..

I'm using OSX 10.9.5 btw

Thank you!

Hi! I use Search Everything. Not sure if it will work with your OS?? It's a great freeware tool.
