HI THERE Amanikshot.
how are you doing.

the pc seems good too me, but there might be some things that i will change if i where you. but i dont know if that pc is worth the money.
it is hard for me to help when it comes to prices. in denmark we have compliantly other prices.
exemple: 1 dollar is 7,5 dkr. BUT 1 doller is still worth more when it comes to what you can get then 7,5 dkr. it is more like 12 dkr.
so you can see that it is hard for me to understand what a doller is worth for YOU. if i see 7,5 dkr outside my window i will not bother getting off my chear and outside to get it. but you will for a dollar. right?

but i can start by asking if it is something that you are building, or buying prebuild?

ok. so i will tell in my opinion what i think about it then.
but first: still i am not looking at the prices, danish money are different.

i think a 560 ti will be a good choice. but in denmark the 6950 cost the same and that card you can bios unlock to a 6970 as i did explain in another thread.
but if you are not into all that unlocking then i think the 560 will be good. i am also more of an nvidia fan. always was.
also if you are gonna get the 560 ti, then i have a question. that ASUS en gtx 560 has a custom cooler on it. does that card cost more then other 560's because of that?
if so i will recommend not getting it(only if you want and the price is just a tiny bit more). because that it makes a little more noise and that card is not gonna get hot enough for a need of a custom cooler if you are not overclocking to the limite.
just something that i think you should think about.

like your ram and i realy like your choice of processoers. that "K" is an important lable in the name. without you can not overclock. and it is the new sandy bridge core i5. good choice.

looks like a fine motherboard. i just want to inform you that you might want to check if you can find a z68 in the same price range with the same features. if it gets more expensive then you dont necessarily have to.
with the z68 you can use intels Smart Response Technology.
Intel Smart Response Technology Explained | Hardware Secrets
at this point we dont know to much about the ivy bridge cpu's but i think that you will be more future proof with the z68. just like that the most powerfull cpu's from intels previously serie (the 2 6X cores cpu's) only came for the x58 chipset.

be aware that you HDD are running at 5900RPM. the standard is 7200RPM. so the harddisk (witch allready is the slowest part of your system) is slower then other harddrives. and it is the harddrive you wait for when you for an example double click a folder.
copy a file goes faster with a better cpu but it goes way faster with a better harddrive. it is because that most 2TB harddrives does have a lower RPM then others. i will go for a 1TB or 2 of them if i where you.
if i was to decide i will get 2 1TB harddrives and then set them to raid0.

thats completely up to you. if you want to get the radeon or the nvidia card.
i will personal get the radeon, but if i was not going to unlock it i will get the nvidia because that i like nvidia more, and the performance is more or less the same as a not unlocked 6950,

i am sorry but i dont know if you can get it cheeper. again, i have difficulties helping when it comes to price.

those motherboards look the same too me. what are the difference? also how much extra are you paying?

i did find all the hardware in danish prices, and surprisingly enough the price for it all was 6400 dkr.
i guess thats because that it is euro. denmark also did have a vote not too lang ago about if denmark should switch to euro insted of kroner. but most voted no.
i think if you whare living in america the difference will be way more.

i think it look good.
but only one thing. the gpu.
i saw i picture of it and note that it is not the reference design. in other words, it is not unlockable. so if you shoud choose between that one or the 560. i will go with the 560.
my favorite thing about nvidia is that it is optimized for for more game engines then amd's gpu's is.
if you want to go with the amd, get a reference one and you NEED to unlock it. else i think that you should go with nvidias 560 ti.
i also just now learned that the unlockable cards are a little more expensive then the rest of them.
also those cards comes with 2gb.
you need to find some that have a bios switch on the side.. like this one http://www.waybeta.com/uploads/img/2...2205502479.jpg

so maybe you should just save yourself the trouble and a little bit and get a gtx 560 ti. it is realy also a great card and out performe the (not unlocked 2gb version) 6950 in most benchmarks.
here is a great example: GeForce GTX 560 Ti review
the card under the 560 is a 2gb version of the 6950 and the card above it is a like a unlocked 2gb 6950.
there is no 1gb version of the 6950 in that test.
