I started to compress my c drive. But it said it was going to take a very long time so I stopped it. The problem is when I restarted my computer it gave me this warning. Bootmgr is compressed press control alt del to restart. Every time I do it it just gives me the same message. Is there anyway to fix this. I've read a lot of the solutions on other forums but my problem is my copy of Vista is a burnt copy and none of those work.

Can someone please help me?

Can you boot from your "burnt" DVD? If you can, run the "repair" option. If the other forums said to do the same thing, just ignore my post.
