I am turning an old DELL Inspiron 8200 into a little media server.
The one thing I am interested in right now is power management. I do not wish to keep it on all day. I have put it onto a plug which has a switch on the wall and set up the power management so that it will shut down when on battery power.
I would like to make it boot when the AC power is switched on at the switch.
Resuming it from standby would be sufficient.
Any ideas?
