Default Blu screen of Death??

ok i have a backup hard drive with xp ok so my pri mary hd went out and i tried to put my back up in but as soon as i turn y comp on it skips the xp loading screen and flasses a windows protection screen and reboots every time help!!!!!!

XP is installed on the other hard drive, for that computer? I would try booting into safe mode- hit F8 during bootup and select safe mode. If you are unable to get into safe mode, looks like you may need to do a repair on Windows.

if you have a dual boot system with two seperate copies of xp, then just keep hitting the esc key to bring up the menu list of operating systems, then choose what OS you want to load..that's what i do in a dual boot system.
