I use fraps but the only problem with that is the size of the file it records lol

What about Fraps? It's commercial, but works great.

As for the size, it has to be big. Capturing video/audio real time is better be taken uncompressed to preventing frame skipping or audio from going out of sync for high quality shots. Maybe even low quality shots could be affected.

Fraps looks perfect for the job! Much higher quality than other software that I have used in the past.

Have you tried hypercam?
Worked fine for me. (it has been a while sense i have used it, but i remember it to have worked fine)

I have actually tried Hypercam in the past. I dont really like it. I dont know why, because it does work, but it just doesnt sit well with me. Well, that and it produces very laggy videos...

The three ones that i know about that work good are..

bandicam and frapps and screencast-o-matic.
