Default Befuddled

I hope this is the right forum. I just upgraded to windows 7. When listening to itunes, media center, or surfing the net, a news broadcast suddenly takes over out of the blue. After I log off the internet the broadcast continues. I contacted my internet provider and dell and neither could resolve the issue. Thanks in advance for any direction

Have you scanned your computer for malware / viruses?

Try scanning with malwarebytes / spybot. In my experience those two are more likely to pick anything up.
