Default Android growing bigger and bigger

Many of you have realised that android is going up the market as it is pre installed on many devices.
It was shocking for me to find out that when I bought my kobo arc, it was running android jelly bean 4.1.1! I didn't expect an reader to be fully capable of using apps using a camera and actually browse the internet.
The nexus 7 is also quite popular for only 199.99, running ANDROID!
Is there a future of android on computers?
What do you guys think about android?

to me Android is the best mobile OS. and it only gets better and better.
i don't think it will make it to the PC. i think Google would rather work on their ChromeOS for PC's.
