Somehow, I have an XP box with an admin account that has no admin privs and I'm not too sure how to fix it. You can't CREATE an admin acct without an Admin acct! lol
I tried using my usual trick, the Offline NT Editor utility or whatever it's called, but it didn't work. I first unlocked the account, then blanked the password. That seemed to work fine. Then I tried to promote the user since it didn't show up as an administrator in the utility but it didn't work. The machine has no local user account with admin rights. How can I go about creating a new Admin account that has th proper rights?
