Default add/remove program button not working

Hi,

For the past weeks I have been downloading mp3 from different sites. Some of the sites require one to download some plugins. Now I have finished to download and I want to delete such plugins and other software that do not have uninstall utilities. I tried to click the add/remove programs button in the control panel but it does not respond? What could be the program?

I am using windows 2000 professional.
Thanks.

South Africa.

What kind of plugins are ya trying to uninstall ??

and for what program are they associated with ??

If you know the name of the plugin, do a search for it on yer comp., then right click it and go to properties.

then clik find target...look in there for an uninstall.

if al else fails...just go to the registry & delete it from there.
