Ive got mates on YIM, MSN and AIM. And there is no way im installing any AOL software on my pc, so i went with trillian and its never failed me yet. Great piece of software.

aim is technically aol software....but it's like....not aol software at the same time.

1. it doesn't install spyware on your computer by default
2. it doesn't load a bunch of crap on your computer with it
3. it works decently
4. people actually like it

Im not using AIM tho, i use trillian to talk to my mates who have AIM. Like i said nothing by AOL will get on my machine. I cant stand their software, the amount of problems ive had in the past from it is unreal

Both, how can they be different AIM is AOL Instant Messenger, so its made by AOL, and AOL suck

I'm testing it, nothing new.

yes there are improvements. the display pics are stored on their servers so nomatter where you log in from you have the same one
