Hello again.

For those of you that use AIM, this might be useful.

I recently created a small program that well.. kills Viewpoint. (AKA: Viewpoint Media Player). Viewpoint is a small "annoyware" that comes with AIM. It's one of the nasty little suprises you get with AIM without them telling you about it. In older versions of AIM, Viewpoint will be re-installed by AIM if you uninstall Viewpoint from Add/Remove Programs.

The latest version is 1.05, and it can kill Viewpoint, Viewpoint Manager, and clean temp files. If yall like this program, I'll keep posting when I update it.

You can download ViewpointKiller from: www.prprogramsstudios.tk

Thanks.

finally, something to get rid of it. i've been wondering what that stupid program was since it got installed. its been very annoying and i finally have a chance to remove it for good.

thank you

Im a little bit skeptical.. what if im downloading a keylogger.. I mean.. why trust this dude? Maybe i will try it, i dont know. Sounds evil when he says to use his program.. lol.

I've been using it for this whole week...and when you download it, you can view the license just to reassure you. :)

The license:

ViewpointKiller 1.0 License:

By using ViewpointKiller, you agree to this license in full.

1. "Freeware"

ViewpointKiller ("software") is "freeware". That means that the software is free to download and to distribute. This also means that you may make unlimited copies of the software, to keep for yourself, or to distribute to others. What this does not mean: You may not charge money for the software, or the act of distributing the software, even if it costs you money. You may not put any kind of "debt" on anyone for downloading or using this software.

The software is provided "AS-IS". That means that the software comes as you see it off of an official mirror. That also means I am not responsible if the software screws up your computer, but I have made every effort to ensure that the software is stable and safe. If you have downloaded the software and something goes wrong, it is not my fault.

2. "Modification"

ViewpointKiller was originally released under the GNU General Public License, but now that the software is a full release, it will not be, and you will not be, subject to those terms. You will be subject to these terms if you run the software. The source code was originally included with the program for testing purposes, but now will not be. You may not use the source code for the software (versions 1.0 final and higher) for any purposes. You may still use the beta source code. You may not post any source code (versions 1.0 final and higher) on your site, or distribute it to anyone. You may "RegHack" the software if you so choose to do so.

This is my software, and I will not be ripped off.

3. "Malicious software"

The software is absolutely free from adware and spyware. That is all I need to say on that.

4. "Mirroring"

You may mirror the software on your site, provided it is not a warez, crack, keygen or otherwise illegal site, for free and at no charge to others. If you have come across the software on a warez site, and downloaded it, I request that you remove the software at once and re-download it from an official mirror.

Official mirrors include (but are not limited to) :
FileForum.com
PrProgramsStudios.tk
Softpedia.com
DirFile.com
FreewareFiles.com
Soft32.com

5. AIM and Viewpoint

I am responsible to both of those companies for my actions, which are legal. I have every right to write software that removes Viewpoint from your system. I am not, and will not, slander or libel either AIM or Viewpoint.

Conclusion:

If you do not agree with any of these terms, DO NOT RUN THE SOFTWARE.

There you go. Email me at: pr@prprogramsstudios.tk if you have any other questions about the software.
