I dont have acsess to the firelwall so i cant open the Remote Desktop port which i think is 338 cant remember. Is there any client that uses Http or something that works past a firewall

There are web based clients but beware there are some not so nice people distributing these and u do not want them having full control of your pc.

Try asking your admin "nicely" to allow remote conections as itss important for your work.

Beyond Remote is great and easy to use .. Ive used to to control my three computers and you dont have to go back and fourth all you have to do have the machine up and you should be able to access it with a pass word wich you would be able to set up .. and t's free no keygen or anything. http://www.tucows.com/preview/374904.html

use real VNC - just google for it. Install the server on your home computer (only 980k) and then from any machine on the net you can type in your ip address into internet explorer, then a window will pop up and thats your computer at home. (IE does need java though)
