Default Pidgin Setup help

In the section that states "Domain" of Pidgin. (Latest Version), Would that be where the server information go?? Would that be this: Server: conference.riseup.net if so,
would I include the word server and the colon??

I was told to use TLS/SSL to connect...What is this??? Help me with this setup please...I am willing to to make a donation via bitcoin, providing success....(Layman terms please).
Hope to hear from you very soon!!!

Default Re: Pidgin Setup help

The 'domain' of Pidgin is indeed the server's connection URL. I've never used the program myself but you might need to input a port by typing :[port] after the URL.

TLS/SSL is a security protocol, and is used by many sites/services today to keep things secure.

Also, welcome to ComputerForums - hope you become part of our community and have fun!
