msn picture virus help

hey, my friend has some msn virus that keeps trying to send people a file called pictures. she scanned her computer with fsecure but nothing showed up. i told her to check her processes and we believe the virus is tnuru.exe she tried to search and delete it but she says she gets this msg when she tries to delete it:

cannot delete tnuru: access is denied.
make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that hte file is not currently in use.

anyone have any ideas besides system restore?

try NOD32, or boot into safe mode and delete it that way, or try and use command prompt to delete it, the command would be delete or erase and then the file name

Oh dear that is not a nice virus, my girlfriend and my brother had that sort of virus last year, they both had to re-install windows. We could not get rid of it then any otrher way. There may be an easier way now but.

I have no idea if they work, I haven't had a virus for years.

Boot into safe mode and be sure to log in as the Administrator account. But before you delete the file, search Google and be sure that it is not a system file.

I got a similar virus from MSN Messenger Live. The process name was svchosts. Had to reformat.
