MSN Live Messenger in Italy

First, does anyone live in Italy and use a vodafone internet key?

What I'm having issue with is my messenger constently disconnects and re-logs in or just fails to deliver a message to a recipient.
I'm not sure if it's a bandwidth thing and can't handle staying logged in, because yahoo doesn't d/c nor does aim, even using trillian the messenger part has issues.
So i'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on. It's not like it gives me an error code or anything.
Would event viewer show what's going on?
I'm using windows xp on a dell E1705.

Have you tried reinstalling the software for your internet key?
