hi, sorry if question sounds silly but im fairly new to it all. i've got a hot mail address and just downloaded windows mess. live but cant connect the two ? i cant use web cam or chat but get hot mail . my cam etc works well with skype no probs at all, any suggestions would be very much appreciated.thank you.

Have you tried signing into windows messenger with your hotmail email adress and password?

For your webcam/microphone to work with windows live messanger you need to run the setup utility once signed in to messanger.
