Haha, yeah. Most of my friends wouldn't know what MSN or Windows Live Messenger is either. In contrast, my cousins and all their friends use MSN/Windows Live Messenger all the time (they live in Canada).

I use trillian, never had any probs with it in over a year, although it doesnt work very well in vista (astra should sort that tho)

Yeah, I want to see what changes Trillian 4 (Astra) brings. Hopefully some Vista goodness.

Anybody here use Skype? It is great for Voice and IMing, but it doesn't really offer anything that AIM doesn't. Well, it looks better and it is easier to maintain contacts but that is about it.

everyone here uses MSN. probably because it comes with windows and installing a program is too confusing for them
