Hey guys, so my question is, is it possible set up gmail so it sends me a text whenever i get an email? right now i just have the app and i need wifi for it, is there a way to treat it just like normal texting, like how you can with twitter?

This is more dependent of your telecommunications provider and your plan with them than Gmail or Android.

Some providers allow for phone_number@isp e-mail addresses to receive text messages, e.g., 12345678@example.com. Just set this as your forwarding e-mail address under Gmail, and voila!

Make sure you have a really good plan with text messages before you do this.
