Default error message

i thought i had the answer to the problem from winsockvb forums:

I'll attach it in .zip format. It will register the winsock control on Windows NT, 2000, and XP systems, if anyone else is having this problem. Just unzip the files to C:\WINNT\System32 for Win 2000 and C:\Windows\System32 for XP, like you were saying Mokodog. Once the files are installed, open a command prompt and type:
regsvr32 c:\winnt\system32\mswinsck.ocx (replace "winnt" with "windows" if you're using XP) You'll get a message saying the registration was successful.

this looked like it will work except it requires a password to unzip, i am waiting for a reply in that forum, how ever i am very greatful for your efforts

thanks again

bj
