I always write in short while on MSN. Its alot faster to type, and people can understand you, since everyone knows the code now

As long as you can switch between the two though when needed, its a good thing to have.

it depends who im talking to... sometimes i use shorthand, other times i write everything out fully

I usually type the proper way. But with not so smart people i dont, they couldent care less lol.
