AIM Situation

Hello.

I do not want to use the AIM messenger because of spyware issues. I have an AIM account though, and am using Pidgin (which is a new version of gAIM) at the moment.

Could someone please suggest a messenger (other than Trillian, doesn't work) that can be used to talk to someone on AIM over voice?

You can always just use the regular client and use the Ad Hack:
http://www.aimadhack.net/

That's what I did anyway.
