Default aim problems

For the past week now my roommates and I have not been able to connect to aim. We can't also connect to any website concerning aol or aim. The internet works fine, does anyone have a clue on whats wrong.

have u tried uninstalling and reinstalling AIM?

yea make sure AIM sites are allowed like go to allow then www.aim.com and such and if u have zonealarm make sure AIM IS allowed to connect to the internet!

or if you have anything like websense on your internet, you know, proxy servers, maybe its blocked. what comes up? "page cannot be displayed" or something else?

hey....im having the same problem right now....
at the most it will get up to stage 2 and then say the connection cannot be established or w/e it says
this is devastating....my 2nd say w/out no IM!!!!
plz help
i read in another topic that if you unplug your DSL thing it will work...no luck for me
also too...at the MOST i can get onto AIM.com it shows all Xed out where the pics are suppose to be...and half of the page doesnt load or work
aol.com doesnt work
netscape.com doesnt work
cnn.com doesnt work
whitepages.com doesnt work
all of a sudden! i havent installed anything new!
what could be the problem?
btw, www.hometown.aol.com works...and loads properly....
all the others though dont : (
