Are you going to IM with your co-workers and other people at work? That's the whole purpose of AIM Pro. If you want normal AIM to chat with friends, just use AIM 6.0

I know the Pro seems to look cool, but it isn't ment that way.

lol, i saw aim pro, and thot this thread was about like aim "profile" lol, oh well, aim pros a waste of money unless you have a business

There's an AIM Pro? Wow, I didn't even know that. But for instant messaging, honestly I think there's no point in purchasing software.

It asked me to download Pro when I signed into AIM a few days ago so I did, I didn't notice anything different except that the skin looked different.

I downloaded mine at AIM.com for free.

Yeah, AIM Pro is free. It's basically AIM 6.0 but with a different skin, Microsoft Outlook client integration, WebEx meetings and "business-grade security"
