Depends on what your friends use...I use AIM simply because all my friends use it.

Are you talking about in terms of features ? I have no idea in that case because Ive never used AIM. But MSN is jam packed with features.

I never used or even seen AIM in my life. I figure you have to have AOL to use it. I have MSN and been using that since Messenger first came out. I like it a lot. It's tied in to your email account very closely and you can chat at the same time.

I use MSN mainly, because it's what all the local people use here.
MSN vs AIM usage depends highly on the area you live, southern Ontario, nobody knows what AIM even is. |

MSN I prefer, although I use AIM as well ... but mostly everyone I know uses MSN.

I use MSN becos it tends to be in Britain that MSN is industry standard, all my mates have it, i've been using it since it was Called Windows Messenger.
I have used AIM but without the past knowledge it all just looked alien to me and none of my mates use it, i only used it to chat to my Girlfriend, that was before i convinced her to use MSN.
