AIM Issues

Anyone else having problems where AIM 6.5 causes WMP not to play anything? Gets to a point where I need to use system restore just to get WMP working again.

Thanks. Not too fond of Pidgen, but it's better than nothing. I just wish I saw that thread before I installed 6.5

I'm glad I know that now. I don't have Vista, but I warned my friends who do. Thanks guys!

aim = poop. i dont no why every1 uses it!
im forced to use it because of that and ive tried to get all my friends to leave aim and go to something better

but there to dumb!

Try Trillian or something. I'm using Pidgin now, not sure if I like it yet.

But the new update causes a bunch of problems for Vista users, including myself.

The best thing that you can do is a system restore. If not, go to Control Panel>Sounds, and it should give you a pop-up notification about an error with your sound card. It will ask you to disable the features, make sure they get disabled.

No, but I'm getting frustrated with 6.5. for some reason I cannot copy or paste a link from AIM, nor get any kind of right-click menu. I'm ready to go back to good old 5.5 with Deadaim.
