A Pentium Pro, with 8MB RAM and a hard drive with 512MB and Windows ME.

Hehe.. thats my ultimate computer.

Just kidding man, but of course everyone is going to pick the best of the best hardware out right now. I don't think the answers would vary much, at all..

Good attempt at trying to create a discussion though..

1 desktop:
quad-opterons
8 gb ram each processor
2 physx cards per processor
4 7900gtx's per processor
8 hdd's 20,000rpm. raid0+1. scsi.
a building full of speakers.
an atomic powered psu.
case: 8ft x 8ft x 8ft, with a window on one side and an easily opening door on the other... forget porn, just have a girl right there.

lmao. i got a little carried away there.

edit: i just realized that all this is possible(except for the atomic psu) lol.

lhuser, you would need a pci scsi adaptor as the mobo does not support scsi. also, acryllic (sp?) cases have terrible problems such as chipping and bad heat issues. also also, add a phase change cooler in there and your set!
