Default Xbox 360 recall imminent

Large amounts of people that bought retail xbox360's are now wishing they didn't wait in line to get them. the Xbox360's are crashing like mad, weither it be programming error, overheating, or defective hardware is uncertain right now but what is known is that many xbox360's are constantly crashing and not letting them play even the first level of their games.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/80491849@N00/ ( samples of what the crash looks like )

The xbox360 is turning out to be a big mistake for Microsoft, not only are they loosing $126 for every console sold, now many will have to be shipped back, fixed, and sent back out. The xbox's only ever good hit game was Halo, which we all know is announced to be released the day of the PS3 launch. The game is being rushed and is going to turn out like shit, seeing how bungie was only told of this 2-3 weeks before Bill Gates made the order, not to mention the movie that their crew is working on.

Thats why i always wait for at least 3 months before buying any new console. something always goes wrong. PS2 the fan was to loud and they upgraded to progresseve(SP) scan, Xbox the cords were burning ppl's houses down. Xbox 360 tones of crap wrong, lol.

Heres the story from gamespot(it also has a link to previous problems in system launches):

I can imagine how furious Bill must be right now. CEO of Sony will treat it as unacceptable if that ever happens to the PS3.

It's not that many. Yahoo! News said there have been a few reports, but it's not like a epidemic or anything. Becides, Microsoft will pay for the shipping when you ship it in for repairs, or they'll even replace the console for you.
