Yep, slowly we are going to see more and more functions taken over by the computers. Blind spot awareness and crash avoidance is already built in to most luxury cars. It will trickle down to the regular one.

And there are cases of problems with the computers. Toyota's uncontrolled acceleration issue... The bigger issue being uneducated drivers, but I won't get into that. Even mechanical throttle cable owners have sticking throttles though. As all Fox Mustang owners can attest too... It's a little scarier in a big roaring V8 than a Toyota Prius too, hah.
