Windows XP Flawed says Microsoft

nope nope, patches and updates are allways free with "Micr$oft"...

it's Linux and MAC where you have to pay for support contracts...

damn... that sure makes them linux distrobutions the most expensive open source software I know of...

£1500 for a redhat enterprise, (1 year) support contract...

I think I'll stick with my (more robust) windows 2003 server that only cost £300 and recieves life long free updates and service packs...

I think I agree with root on this one. I am definately not saying that microsoft is perfect, everything has its flaws, but I think if I had a chance and I probably speak for 90% of the population, but if I had a chance to make billions of dollars on a new product at the expense of some end users time then I would probably go for it. Ok, maybe not but I mean he makes a lot of money...do you think he really cares about someones computer crashing because they were too stuborn to go to the download page and update their box.

It's a threat in Remote Desktop that allows hackers to DDOS your system. It's old news....
