The part about dual-core processors confuses me. It says that Vista does support them, but then under the picture it says that Vista Home Basic and Premium will recognize but only use one processor. WTF?

It means that if you have multiple chips, some versions won't use both. It will fully use, though, a single chip with multiple cores on it (Athlon X2s, Core 2 Duos, etc.)
