Not sure if any of you are old enough to remember, but Microsoft did release an operating system every 3-4 years before Windows XP. The transition period between Windows XP and Windows Vista was an abnormality.

i remember, it was like, 3.1, 95, 98, 2000/NT/ME, 2004, xp, vista, W7

though um sure thats not exact ordering or something.

3 years is to short i feel like 5 years is the perfect number
enough time to allow new technology to come out and then let the new windows support it.....at lest its longer then apple lol

I liked vista at first cause it was all purty and stuff. Looking back on it. I was a fool. Windows 7 is SOO much better.

All they'll do is change the OS just enough to make us think it's a whole new OS and then charge 200-300 bucks for it. They'll be making a tonnnnnnnn of money.

They are just feeding on the gullible masses.

osx is designed to work the best with a specific list of parts while windows is designed to work ok with any part
