I've got a Fuji digital cam that has the mic opening in the side as a single small hole. Some of my vids have this just incredible wind noise as the air moves over the hole. I'd like to double sticky a small piece of foam over the hole to make a wind sock but what kind of foam should I use?

Why not just cut a very small piece off of Spongebob?

How about a small piece of weather stripping, since it's designed to keep out wind drafts...just a thought.

I would personally use something like this, after all it's kind of what it's designed for, yes that one isn't specifically designed for big winds but it's designed to stop peoples breather etc coming through.

Ah cool. Thanks.
That's open cell soft foam. I can get that at Wally World. Now to find a ride.

I guess you'd like to know why I want a wind sock for my camera all of a sudden. Cause I ordered this Multi-rotors DJI Flamewheel F550 Combo 3 V2.0 (NAZA Lite + Legs) - HeliPal and want to document it's flights. Here lately just prior to the rain laden fronts that move through, it's gets a little windy. The wind noise gets annoyingly loud on the vids.
