Why would you vote for mccain?

"The Obama Nation"

His opposition votes on gun owner's rights in the Illinois state senate
Stated in the above mentioned book.
Facts my friend
Since it's such factual information, I'm sure there are more sources you can show us.

Obama can't take away our rights. The President doesn't have the power to do that. He'd have to try to get an amendment to the Constitution passed, which would need to be ratified by Congress and the states.

In fact, the major thing people should pay attention to is foreign policy. The President can't actually by himself pass laws on health care, the economy, etc. All this is done by Congress. Sure, the President can veto things, but if it's really a good idea then he can be overriden.

I support the conservative movement in the U.S.
Presidents such as Reagan, who toppled the Soviet Union and oh yeah made sure Germans could cross their own country without a wall.

People who believe you can be all you can aspire and work hard to be.
Not an entitlement serf created by failed "great society" thinking.

I didn't support Presidents who cheated on their wives, lied to Congress and got impeached. Soiled the Oval Office with interns etc..the list goes on.

Liberals have to lie about who they really are to get elected.
"Change"=redistribution of wealth: To people who are too lazy to get off their buttts and get jobs.
Oh, and did I mention again you are from Canada and I suspect a socialist?
and that dosent mean obama is like all the other liberals though does it
and besides we could all start slating on the conservative government in america

for instance you support a president

that is still allowing your nation to be engaged in a war that didnt have much support and is loosing support of your nations people rapidly . and a war that your people dont even recognize as part of the "war on terror" instigated by your president

a government that has allowed the CIA to carry out illegal interrogation methods which are in fact in violation of your own laws and principles

a government which is happy to let oil companies rake in ludicrous amounts of money however is willing to standby and let working class people struggle to pay rising fuel bills at the pumps

a government that vetos plans to extend a program to give children from poor income backgrounds access to much needed health care

whilst i agree that the liberals are not exactly squeaky clean neither are the conservatives to any degree just because a few liberals screwed up dosent make them all the same and just because a few conservatives did good things dosent make them perfect

I didn't support Presidents who cheated on their wives

What does that have to do with being a good president? In today's society cheating is quite common. The only problem I see with this is if the President is a die-hard Christian/Catholic and commits such a crime (adultery). Other than that I don't see a problem.

Hm, after watching both those video's I fail to see the "evil" in John McCain...all I see is more mud slinging from the Obama side, facts get distorted by Republican and Democratic campaigns alike to paint the other as a demon, this is no different and one could just as easily find videos painting Obama in a negative light.

Seriously, it's getting to the point it just pisses me the hell off to even turn on the TV.

I don't understand how people can be angry at candidates for trying to be as persuasive as possible. If candidates promoted their campaign by only saying what is actually possible and didn't "taint" the image of it's opponents it would be boring and most of the people would find the candidates incompetent. Some countries have civil wars when there's a shift in power. I think "mudslinging" is a cheap price to pay for such light political battles.
